Dear Parents, March, 15, 2019
Hard to believe we are half-way through March! We are all hoping spring is soon on its way! The warmer weather feels nice after this very long winter. Students should continue to wear boots each day as it's very wet out on the playground!
The permission slip is going home for the Cardboard Challenge next Thursday, March 21 at Jericho Elementary School. Please return on Monday. Be on the look out for 2 additional permission forms next week. One will be for our visit to the Proctor Maple Research Farm in Underhill and the other is for a 4th grade activity with the other 4th grade classes at JES and UCS, that relates to the Red Clover books. More information to come!
We have selected our date for the end of the year 4th grade celebration. It will take place on June 13th, which is a Thursday. None of the June Fridays were available due to other events being scheduled. The celebration involves a fun field trip (that connects to our Vermont unit), a talent show back at school, and a potluck for the students and parents. This means it will be an extended day for students. We are very excited and we will have the students brainstorm some ideas for where they would like to go that day!
Next week the share theme is sports. It can relate to a sport they play, or like to watch. Thank you!
Below are some pictures for our week! Enjoy!!
